Baby Dream Furniture Is Now My Dream FurnitureOkay, I’ll admit it – I am a sucker for clever advertising. I admire the art of marketing and the ability to persuade consumers to put their faith and money into a particular company, or brand. In fact, the Shopping Channel is my close and personal friend. Recently, while researching baby furniture, I stumbled across the well-known Baby Dream Furniture website. Curious to learn all about what makes their furniture so “dreamy”, I decided to watch their Windows Media presentation. Well, that was a big mistake. I am warning all parents, and parents-to-be, if you haven’t already fallen in love with Baby Dream Furniture, you will. The Baby Dream Furniture website is nothing spectacular, really. It has a few pictures of their most notable product, the convertible crib, but other than that the website is fairly standard. As with most websites, there is a page that gives the history and background of the business. It prides itself on being a family owned and operated company that manufactures its products right in Georgia, Atlanta. So far, nothing has really caught my attention. I browse through a few more pages, read all about how their products comply with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, as well as the Juvenile Product Manufacturer’s Association. I get the impression that the company is a reputable one and their products are durable and guaranteed, yet I am still waiting for the “wow” factor. As I am about to divert my attention to something else, I decide to venture to a few more links to see where they take me within the site. With a simple click, I stumble across IT - the Windows Media presentation on Baby Dream Furniture. An approximate five-minute presentation ensues and I become mesmerized by a man standing in a makeshift nursery, demonstrating how the baby cribs convert from infant beds, to toddler beds, to adult beds. He runs his hands over the dark, solid wood and emphasizes all the safety features. He turns furniture up, down and all around to show how a change table can become a dresser, or even an armoire! I am hooked. I watch in amazement as he maneuvers his way around the furniture and I begin to envision that furniture in my baby’s room, despite the fact I don’t even have a baby. At the conclusion of the presentation, I decided that if and when I am blessed with a child, I would certainly think about investing in Baby Dream Furniture. Besides, you should see the cute bedding in the video… About The Author: |
