I remember it like it was yesterday. The sound of my baby brother’s walker tumbling down our Italian marble stairs and his piercing screams as he hit the bottom landing. Thank God, my brother was okay. In fact, they say that walker saved his life. He didn’t hit his head on the stairs, but it didn’t stop my mother and father from spending an endless night of worry watching over him as he slept.
