A Round Crib? Who knew!?!
Yes there really is such a thing as a round crib ! Recently, I realized what a sheltered life I have been living when it comes to the world of baby cribs. In an age where everything is about the “bling, bling”, or the latest trend, it should not have come as a surprise when I stumbled across the newest of trends in baby beds – the round baby crib.
When I first heard about a round baby bed, I struggled to conceive what it could look like; however, within seconds of typing some key words into a search engine, I finally unraveled the mystery – the round crib is exactly that – ROUND!
Everyone, when designing his or her baby’s nursery, has in mind a particular theme, or style, that they wish to convey. While the round crib can be adapted to suit the multitude of nursery themes out there, it definitely has a more specific, designer trendy look about it. Due to the complexity of its design, the round cribs have a designer feel to them. However, because they are often custom pieces, it may be more difficult to find them in your local baby stores. Thank goodness for the internet, though, because there is no shortage of selections online.

The one aspect that a round crib boasts is they almost always have fine attention to detailing on their panels, which will be evident in your search. You can also get round baby cribs with blank panels so that you can decorate it to suit your nursery’s theme. This feature can make your baby’s crib personalized and unique, something that many parents look for when designing a baby’s room.
A round crib is simply the latest in designer baby bed trends and even if you have your heart set on a more traditional rectangular style of crib, round baby cribs are certainly worth a look at. That way, when a trendy mom comes along talking about the round cribs she’s been looking at buying, you can at least know what the heck she’s talking about!
