Comfortable Nursing Pajamas, Loungewear And Sleep Bras Are A Necessity For New MomsIt is hard to believe that you will actually need to buy something called nursing pajamas, loungewear and sleep bras for after baby is born! But, as experienced mothers we can recommend that you will appreciate the convenience and the discreetness that they offer right from day one in the hospital. Most first time mothers do not understand the huge learning curve and the confusion surrounding learning how to breastfeed. It can be awkward at first as you learn how to latch your baby and you will have eager family and relatives wanting to visit you and your baby almost immediately in your hospital room. We can only offer our insight and experience into our suggestion that we highly recommend that you invest in a quality pair of comfortable nursing pajamas before you head to hospital for delivery day. A nice cozy, comfortable pair of nursing pajamas offers you all the wonderful discreetness that nursing clothes offer to a new mom - except they are pajamas! They have discreetly hidden slits in seams, and cleverly hidden flaps to help you nurse your baby a little more privately - which is a HUGE thing when you are learning to breastfeed with a whole bunch of visitors around your hospital bed. I wish someone had suggested this to me for my first baby! It is important that you know that it is absolutely impossible to discreetly nurse a baby in a hospital gown. Hospital gowns are huge, uncomfortable and ill-fitting and they either unsnap from the shoulder; thus exposing your whole breast as you nurse, or you have to lift the whole gown up and nurse your baby from underneath it - which is quite hard to do as your view is blocked by all the gathered fabric. Once you are back in the comfort of your home you will then come to really appreciate the comfort and ease that nursing pajamas and nursing loungewear offer. And, as your milk comes in and your breasts expand and get sore you will really, really appreciate the comfort and support of a soft and cozy nursing sleep bra. As experienced nursing moms we actually recommend that you buy at least 2 or 3 pairs of pajamas and sleep bras for nighttime nursing so that you always have a fresh pair to wear. You will be surprised (a better word might be shocked!) at how many times your baby will spit up and you will be looking for a fresh change of clothes or nursing pajamas. Remember to enjoy this special time though, as it goes so fast. Breastfeeding offers you a very special opportunity to bond with your baby - Enjoy every last minute of it! You will also be surprised at the amazing selection of nursing pajamas, nursing loungewear and nursing sleep bras that are available at online stores. The selection is unlike any that you will find in a retail store. Great online selections are available at some very reputable and highly recommended stores! About The Author: |
