Want To Go Jogging With Your Baby? There Is A Jogging Stroller Just For You

Prior to giving birth to my precious little one, I was what people would call “an active person”. I enjoyed being outdoors and jogged on a regular basis and thoughts of buying a jogging stroller were far from my mind. After I had my baby I felt as though the life had been sucked out of me. Between getting up at all hours to feed, and doing what seemed to be an endless pile of laundry, the last thing I wanted to do was go for a run!

However, I found that as I began to get into a routine, I craved the outside and wanted to get back into shape. Since I loved to jog, I figured a solid investment would be to buy a jogging stroller. Hence, I went on a mission to find a jogger stroller that best suited my needs.

A jogging stroller purchase can be overwhelming as there are a great number of options that are available. One particular brand of jogging strollers that I found myself attracted to was the Baby Jogger. There are currently five Baby Joggers on the market and they are each unique in their functions, abilities and accessories.

The most popular jogging stroller model of Baby Joggers is the Baby Jogger II. It is lightweight and very sturdy. On this jogger stroller, the shocks enable it to go easily over rocks, sticks or bumps. Over the years the jogger II has improved and now comes equipped with better features. It has a sun canopy, protective side meshes, deeper seats, and shoulder straps that are now easier to adjust so that your little one is always protected.

In May of 2002, a jogging stroller called the Baby Jogger 3 was released; it is a slight variation of the Baby Jogger II. This jogger stroller has the same frame as the Baby Jogger II, however, this model reclines and is made to last you into your child’s toddler years. It has removable shoulder straps that then turn into a three-point harness, allowing your toddler more freedom when that time comes.

For families with two or more children that want a jogging stroller, Baby Jogger makes the Twinner II and the Triple Jogger. Both are quality products that accommodate a wide range of ages and heights. However, while you may be able to clear some doorways, you might have to disassemble this stroller to get into the majority of doorways. This said, it is just as easy to run, jog, or walk with as the other models.

As you can see, the features of a jogging stroller made by Baby Joggers are plenty. With their rear back pockets, thorn resistant wheels, retractable canopy see-thru window, safety wrist strap and numerous other options, this jogger stroller is one of the better ones on the market. And now that I own one, I have no excuses for not getting out and going for that run
